Rachel Weisz's character is a brilliant student of Egyptian history, and she's every bit as much a hero as Rick. She's whip-smart, a quick thinker, and good in a crisis. By the end, she defeats Imhotep and turns him into a vulnerable human, making her the real victor. The movie is insensitive in its depiction of Egyptian and Arabic people, but that's for others to discuss.
