MURDER MYSTERY DINNER

Sara Faucher, Director of Mercy Hospice, accepts a check from Bette McMorrow and Alberta Mills for $1360, the proceeds from the Murder Mystery Dinner.

AUXILIARY MAKES CHEMO PILLOWS

On October 14th, 15 Members of the Auxiliary held a sewing day to make 150 Chemo pillows that were sent to the Charleston VA for our Veterans undergoing Chemotherapy, along with Chemo patients at the Waccamaw Cancer Center.

 Kris Tourtellotte, a Vietnam Vet who was the chairman who brought the Vietnam Moving Wall to Myrtle Beach last year.

Mack Reed who is a Korean Vet and a member of our Legion Post.  Mack (MR) is the man who gave Kris and Bill the idea for the Tribute.    MR helped with the Moving Wall last year and mentioned: “Why doesn’t someone do something for the Korean Veterans?”

Bill DeVaughn, chairman of the Korean Veterans Tribute, a member of the Post and Rolling Thunder SC3.
